The hotel claims to be 4 stars. This was definetely not the case with respect to the room. Rust in the bathtub, furniture that looks to be owned by my grandparents for 50 years, stained doors etc. All in all it looks like the room has been neglected for quite some time outside of regular cleaning tasks. We asked for another room and this was granted to us. However, the other room had the exact same issues. Outside of this, the location is ideal in the heart of Ceuta.

I went here looking for a place to stay and they charged me 85€ per night. I checked online later and saw rooms are going for 65-70€ (offseason, during ramadan). Why would the hotel clerk even feel the need to do this? Is this España or Moroccan medina? Ceuta seems to be an expensive place to stay at but I don't really see how this is a 4**** hotel. Maybe 20-30 years ago it was. It's not worth 85€, or 70€ in my opinion.

The hotel was a 3 star hotel probably 20 years ago. It is now a 1 star hotel with a good location. Many issues - dirty and dingy, lighting is poor, I think the water bottles may be refilled as we had several that were not full and not sealed. Safe in room does not work (all rooms from our group). The bed frame is metal and feels like you are in a prison cell. The advertised parking is incorrect as well as no bar/lounge. They had a kitchen fire about 6/8 mos ago and the hotel suffers even more than it did before. I read old reviews that were bad and I agreed with each of them. This tells me this is not a temporary issue.
