The staff at this hotel are incredibly kind and professional – from the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. We spent 3 nights in the Alpin Lodge Suite, and it was absolutely perfect. The room is both beautiful and cozy, with a stunning view that we couldn’t get enough of. The highlight of the suite is undoubtedly the terrace with the breathtaking view and private jacuzzi The hotel also offers a selection of unique experiences that truly made our stay magical. The most unforgettable ones were the breakfast with alpacas, a romantic dinner in a treehouse, and a floating breakfast- each one thoughtfully prepared and completely enchanting. Although I’ve been lucky to visit many beautiful places around the world, this one felt truly unique and special. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience moved me so much that I felt it deserved to be shared. If you’re looking for something extraordinary, this place definitely is. P.S. To the wonderful staff- I asked for an affogato, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and it was so delicious that I genuinely believe it deserves a spot on your dessert list! Thank you for going above and beyond in every detail.
We unexpectedly got a few days off and decided to take a short trip to Italy. Since we had so little time, we wanted to make the most of every moment – aiming for the ultimate experience with beautiful surroundings, great food, and outstanding service. We also wanted it to feel worth the price, especially after having stayed at other 5-star hotels where the experience didn’t quite match the cost. After some searching, we came across Hotel Al Foss, and it immediately stood out. They responded to our request for an offer within minutes and added us on WhatsApp, where they answered all of my many (and probably annoying) questions with patience and respect – even before I had made a booking. They shared photos of different room options and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Eventually, we booked a two-night stay in a suite with a private outdoor jacuzzi and mountain views. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was something special. The quiet, the design, the music, the live saxophonist, and the beautifully arranged spaces around the hotel created an atmosphere that truly exceeded all expectations. The suite was even better than the pictures. After a delicious lunch, we spent the whole evening in the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view over the mountains. Champagne and snacks were served right there – luxury in the most effortless and genuine way. And then… the food. It was simply a wow experience. I had the best carbonara of my life, and my partner – a chef at a gourmet restaurant with very high standards – was genuinely impressed. That alone says a lot. We also booked two extra experiences: A sunset dinner on the terrace, and Breakfast with alpacas. To be honest, I didn’t think the alpaca breakfast would be worth it at first – but it turned out to be absolutely magical. The combination of flavors, peace, and nature was something I’ll never forget. The service was perfect. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming but never pushy or overbearing. They were always present without ever invading our space. That balance is rare and made a big difference. I told my partner several times: "Pinch me – is this even real?" That’s how I’d summarize our stay at Hotel Al Foss. We will absolutely come back. And if anyone asks whether it was expensive – I’d say: It was worth every single euro and then some. Thank you to the entire team for turning our short vacation into a memory of a lifetime.
This hotel is out of this world. If you are lucky enough to experience this wonderful hotel, you will see why everyone falls in love with it. The service, views, & atmosphere are well worth the stay. I've been to over 40 countries & dozens of luxury hotels, but this one is in a league of its own. A must stay, and I'll happily stay here again.
