Hotel Charlotte

We stopped here for two nights whilst my motorbike was getting repaired in Innsbruck. Great location to the old town, great transport connections, the hotel was brilliant and the staff too. Especially Christina who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay

I’m a journalist, and I came to Innsbruck for an event. Initially, I planned to stay at this hotel for just one night before moving closer to the city center to be near the event venue. But the hotel is nestled in such beautiful nature, and the staff are incredibly kind — I felt completely at home. So I decided to stay one more night instead of moving. I absolutely recommend this place. You’ll be amazed by the breathtaking view of the mountains right outside the hotel, resting at the foot of the Alps.

Overall not a bad place to stay, but not a 4* experience you would expect. The rooms are clean and spacious, and they look nice enough. The beds are comfortable. It is easy enough to get into town via the tram but the hotel is a little far out. Staff are friendly but not always visible. Breakfast is good with a variety of options but nothing outstanding. There is a fridge but no kettle / coffee machine in the rooms which is odd. Unfortunately we made a mistake when booking the hotel and thought it had a spa / pool, but it does not. The pool is only open in summer. Walls are paper thin and we had what sounds like elephants staying upstairs.
