Hotel Chateau Laurier Quebec

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Château Laurier Québec! The location is truly amazing! Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. There are so many restaurants nearby, which made dining super convenient whether we wanted to sit down or grab take-out. The area felt lively yet peaceful, and it was the perfect place to stay to experience the charm of Old Quebec. I would highly recommend people to stay here!

Amazing hotel! Book off the hotel website for extra perks. Spent approximately $720 CAD for a package which included tax for one night stay, upgraded 2 queen beds, valet parking with in and out privileges, 2 60 minute massages, and buffet breakfast. Hotel room by itself would’ve costed around $420-450. Great location. 15 min walk from Dufferin Terrace.

The name and external façade conjure a sense of luxury, but don’t expect anything more than a very standard hotel on the interior. The rooms are very basic. Our room was freezing at night in mid-August, but that may have been an anomaly. The toilet seat was not properly affixed to the toilet. All of that said, the location was excellent. There is a parking lot around the corner that charges a flat $10 per 12 hours, and then you can move your car out to the street after 9 PM for free parking until 9 AM near the main boulevard. Housekeeping at the hotel was excellent. All in all, not a bad experience, but certainly nothing exceptional.
