I spent a few days hiking in Klosters and stayed at the Hotel Grischuna for two nights. My experience was excellent from check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive to every detail.I especially enjoyed the breakfast, it was perfectly balanced just how I like it, with fresh red fruit, protein, and some delicious extras. They are very generous with all the little touches, which made a big difference especially when you are very active hiking the mountains. The bed and linens were of fantastic quality, it's rare for me to find a bed where I can truly rest after a long hike, but this one was exceptional. Everything was wonderful, and I’ll definitely be back next summer. Thank you to the entire team!

Hotel Chesa Grischuna, formerly known as Chesa Selfranga, is a beautifully transformed alpine guesthouse located in the historic Selfranga area of Klosters. Blending the rustic soul of its past with the refinement of a boutique mountain lodge, it offers a quiet and intimate escape just minutes from the ski lifts. With only 14 rooms, it provides personalized attention, clean design, and a peaceful setting — making it a discreet gem for couples, families, or solo travelers who want a more authentic experience in the Alps.

We did not stay at the hotel but we frequently eat at the restaurant. Recently, we have been opting for the pasta bar downstairs as it is a bit less stuffy and has a menu that the kids really enjoy. The pasta is fresh and delicious if you are looking for a change from normal Swiss mountain fare. I had the pasta with ragout (pictured here) and started with the Chesa salad which is one of my favorites!
