Cute boutique hotel in downtown Montreal with complimentary breakfast pastries. It had stylish interior with comfy bed and was quite clean with an unique interior. It was super conviently located and I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. Unfortunately we had issues with the shower in our room (only cold water and minimal water pressure). The staff allowed us to shower in an adjacent empty room. My only other complaint is that walls were quite thin (we could hear everything outside and in the room we shared a wall with). Overall would book again but hope the shower in room 204 can be fixed (looking through reviews it seems like this has been an ongoing issue...)
Transit access: 10/10 – Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk to the metro and close to several bus stops. The hotel itself, however, doesn’t live up to its 4-star boutique claim. The interiors feel dated, corridor carpets were musty, and the floors creaked. Our first room (210) had a non-functioning AC and poor shower pressure. After reporting it, we were moved to 310 – slightly better, but still with weak water pressure. Breakfast was disappointing – only cold items like croissants and cereal. A couple of hot options would really improve the experience. Lastly, service could be more accommodating. We were denied even a single bottle of water and asked to use the dispenser with our own bottle. Overall, great location but the hotel needs upgrades and better hospitality to match its rating.
The rooms are nice and spacious. Thr lobby ambiance is cute. The location is also very convenient in downtown. Few things to note: - parking is additional - breakfast is not edible (yogurt, coffee, tea and cheap croissants). - there is no bathroom in the lobby. So if you check out, leave your things and come back, you have to go to nearby restaurant to use the bathroom
