Excellent hotel at the heart of Achensee. The room was excellent, with a partial view of the mountain and the lake. The restaurant offered delicious variety of starter, main dishes and mouth-watering desserts (esp. their cheese cakes). Breakfast was also amazing, and the staff of the hotel were super-friendly and nice! Overall, the price value ratio was excellent, and the hotel is definitely recommended.
We came in to eat something after hiking around the lake. Everything was surprisingly amazing. Great atmosphere and views outside, great service, and good coffee. We has the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and it was vary good!
While the service was nice in the hotel and at breakfast, dinner was an unpleasant experience. If we where too late to have dinner, I would rather be told „we do not serve dinner anymore“ rather than getting low quality, half cooked food and getting overcharged. Feedback is not welcome here. Would not recommend as a dinner place.
