We stayed for only one night during a motorcycle tour. The staff are very friendly and understanding where Spanish is not your first language. The room was excellent, spacious and with an excellent view of Toledo Old Town. Breakfast was good also.
In my opinion this is a 3, maximum 4 star hotel, not 5. As I mentioned already, I would advice fixing the screeching noises of the rolling toaster instead of simply living with it. Most guest probably do not enjoy it for breakfast. I would also focus on fixing the clogged bathroom sinks and cleaning the glass promenade that is full of dry rotten leaves.
Wow, what an experience. The mattress had a charming sag in the middle—who needs back support anyway? The shower room greeted us with its signature “eau de sewer” scent. Breakfast was a gourmet affair: minimal options, a side of flies on the bread, and milk that had clearly aged to perfection. The staff? Warm as a winter in Siberia. And the complimentary water at the lobby? Generously limited to one whole cup per person—because hydration is clearly a luxury. So grateful we only booked one night.
