Hotel Circle Inn

This hotel looks very bland from the outside, but the inside is very well kept and the rooms were really nice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast; it was the perfect send off for our long journey to the airport and home.

Stayed here several times for three plus week long stays for 3-4 months in 2011 while overseeing a project at Ramstein Air Base. My office had suggested using Hotel Christine in nearby Landstuhl but after two stays there being stuck in outbuildings with great rooms but no parking, I made the switch to Circle Inn and am so glad I did! The highlight of the stay was always the breakfast spread each morning, particularly the rolls (brotchen, or is that term more Bavarian?) which were delicious. I would have been more than satisfied if that was the only food item, they were so good. But there was so many other options too! I spent 2+ hours a day at the gyms in Ramstein and I still probably gained weight due to the delicious breakfasts at Circle Inn! Apologies for the delayed review, I suffered several strokes the next year while at Osan Air Base in Korea, which derailed my entire life path.

Do not book here with your family before/after PCSing if you have a cat! This hotel needs to change from saying “pet friendly” on websites if you aren’t going to allow cats! Say dog friendly then so you don’t waste our time, money, and energy! I booked for a €144 same day room due to my flight being cancelled for myself, my husband, and my cat. Booking.com said they are PET FRIENDLY, did NOT specify “no cats” so we booked a room and said we had a cat in the additional comments. We then get a call not even 2 hours before our check in time saying we have to cancel our room because they accept dogs but not cats. This hotel needs to specify and do better to mention that and not say “pet friendly” when they are not! Also who accepts dogs but not cats?!
