Nice modern hotel but I really hate that you can't make your own coffee and they have to make it for you. Did not enjoy that at all. Also the name of the hotel is confusing because online it says hotel city Lugano but when you get to the hotel it says hotel city Giglio or something. Very confusing.
We booked this hotel based on reviews praising the air conditioning. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience. During our one-night stay, the AC couldn’t cool the room below 23°C, making it hard to sleep. When we brought it up, the staff simply shrugged and offered a fan, which made little difference. Disappointing stay—would not recommend.
