Hotel Ciutadella Barcelona

Our stay was excellent from the very first moment – we were welcomed by a smiling staff. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the room was already prepared and we were able to check in. The room was very nice, with very comfortable beds, clean and pleasant. The hotel is beautiful both inside and out, and it smells wonderful. Breakfast had a wide selection – everyone can find something they like. Great location, whether heading to the sea or the city center. Once again, thank you to the wonderful hotel staff – the ladies at breakfast and the gentlemen at the reception. It was a fantastic stay.

Location is perfect, short walk to the marina and beach and across the road for all the restaurants and bars to start, on the short walk into the centre. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They showed so much compassion and care when my partner began with an asthma attack and could not do enough for us. The rooms were clean and a good size, ours (112) had a decent size bathroom with wetroom style shower, which had a shower chair and wall bars. Beautiful full balcony doors to open in the bathroom and bedroom. The aircon was a welcome too. Kettle, small fridge, safe and wardrobe. There is a small gym, its very limited equipment, but able to do a quick workout. Was a beautiful stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend for a hotel thats a great price, well located and amazing staff.

We had a lovely stay here (May 2025). All of the staff were excellent- so friendly, welcoming, helpful, attentive. The location was good, rooms clean and tidy. The breakfast was decent enough, could do with some music or similar in the breakfast room as it was otherwise very quiet. Would overall really recommend the hotel!
