Hotel Cla Ss Hiroshima Dobashi

Room is clean and comfortable, sound proof as it is very quiet at night. Location is good as near to street car stops. There is a nearby Fuji fresh food supermarket which is excellent. No lift to 2nd level.

This boutique hotel has four total units. The room we stayed in was spacious for 3-4 guests with 2 semi-double beds and a small living room with a Japanese style mat and mini-sofa. The bathroom is spacious. The room overall was very clean. The wifi was great, fast enough to browse US sites, work, and take Zoom calls. While the hotel doesn't have any on-site staff, they are very responsive through electronic communication. We received excellent service as they were very accommodating to our needs. Location-wise, it's a quick 5-7 minute walk from the street car stop and several convenience stores like Family Mart. The street car then takes you to all the popular sights and areas. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay and it exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Hiroshima!

Pros: * Had trouble with a booking. Com issue and had to call but the person was super helpful despite it being early morning (though I can speak Japanese otherwise it would've been extremely difficult) ! *The location was very nice near the river and a tram that can take you to all the places. *The beds and pillows were comfortable and it was nice to have an outside balcony. *The bathroom was really nice with a good hairdryer. *Cleaning staff were friendly Cons: *Not enough space to lay suitcases completely flat *The projector was extremely difficult to figure out use and the info page in the book was not obvious enough especially with English. Had to watch a YouTube video on how to use it and couldn't connect a USB. *The kitchen draw wouldn't shut properly the magnet needs replacing which isn't a big deal but a bit inconvenient *No washing machine yet so much space to dry things. *It is easy to hear upstairs and we got noisy neighbours which brings down the relaxation qualities, it's no fault of the hotel but if you stay upstairs please be mindful. * The explanation booklet and websites English could use re-evaluation (I can help with that, feel free to email me to edit the book)
