We recently hosted our social event in the Ambassador Ballroom at Hotel Cleveland, and it was nothing short of amazing! The beautifully renovated property perfectly blends modern elegance with historic charm, creating a stunning backdrop for our event. The entire Hotel Cleveland team was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. A special thank you to Ashley for truly embodying exceptional hospitality and representing the property with grace and dedication. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to work with!
Our cross-country road trip began in style with a stay at the Hotel Cleveland, Autograph Collection, right in the heart of downtown Cleveland. We chose it as our base while visiting the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and it completely exceeded expectations. The hotel immediately impressed with its grand, historic charm—think polished marble, soaring ceilings, and an old-world opulence that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Cleveland’s own Gilded Age. Every detail from the lobby to the elevator had character. Our room was pristine: spotlessly clean, comfortably appointed, and blissfully quiet. After a long day of driving and exploring, that peace and comfort meant everything. The bed was incredibly cozy, and it was one of those rare hotel rooms where you can truly unwind—no hallway noise, no ambient city chaos—just calm. What really made the experience special was the atmosphere. This wasn’t just a place to crash for the night—it felt like a destination in itself. Elegant but welcoming, historic but modern in all the right ways. If you’re planning a visit to Cleveland or the Rock Hall, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.
This hotel visually is very pretty and the rooms feel nice upon arrival. Ours was clean and did not notice any sanitary deficiencies( others in our party did have issues here) However, for a hotel at this price point and under the Marriott brand it was not the best experience. I’ve stayed at much more affordable hotels and had a restful seamless experience. Rooms: as others have mentioned the smoke detector above the bed is flashing all night and is very noticeable. We had a room with two adjoining doors ( did not know the guests on the other side) Both neighbors were disruptive and loud. You can hear EVERYTHING because of the adjoining doors. First night the neighbors were blasting music at 1:30 AM and had to call the front desk to resolve. After finally getting back to sleep a fire alarm at 4 AM woke us again. Room was lacking some basics like hand soap. I wish they provided more than one towel per guest. No microwave or freezer. Fridge provided. The lighting in our room was very dim. Not sure if other rooms had more lighting. Parking here is another downside. The attached garage prices are ridiculous. $48 for self parking and $57 for valet per day! There was no functioning elevator to go from hotel to garage. The elevators in the hotel itself were extremely slow and partially under maintenance. The hotel restaurant was fine for breakfast but lunch and dinner were overpriced and underwhelming. Overall, the hotel itself is visually nice and historic but lots of little things add up to a less than ideal experience. I was here for an event but would probably not opt to stay again out of my own volition.
