I wanted to spend a day at the beach of Tanangikya, sit by the pool, and eventually try a dive into the lake. The hotel is an 8 km drive from the city center. The pool and bar area are very pleasant, and I spent a couple of hours there, having some drinks, though I didn’t try the food. The restaurant is just a few meters away, right at the lake. I went to the beach but was left a bit speechless when I saw several tubes pouring water from the hotel into the lake, right next to the sandy shore. That took away my ambition to go for a swim at this spot.
Had a good stay here. Room was spacious and comfortable with a good bathroom and everything working well. Nice location on the lake shore with some sandy areas. Food was good and the beer was cold. Staff was kind and helpful. Good value for money.
