Hotel Club Torre Salinas

We stayed at the Hotel Torre Salinas for the first ten days in June. It is a lovely building in beautiful surroundings has a good beach and swimming pool with well laid out rooms; ours had good views and mostly friendly and professional staff. We enjoyed our stay. It has a couple of idiosyncrasies: Drinks cannot be charged to rooms and guests don't have control of the air conditioning in their rooms. These are niggles rather than major problems but I think the Hotel loses sales from the former:-There are times when dressed for swimming when we aren't carrying any way to pay. A major defect is the food and the way is served. It is of very low quality and haphazardly offered. We foolishly ignored the reviews we checked before we booked because the English often complain just because the food is different to what they are used to. We have stayed in many hotels where buffets offer a good selection of good food. This isn't one. I couldn't believe it's Italian. It's a cuisine I enjoy and have eaten all over the world. This was just bad. Don't let this review stop you booking but consider booking bed and breakfast and eating elsewhere.

Where to start. So we got this via Voyage Prive and to be honest my fault I did not research more. I just trusted the site thinking will be a bit more upmarket. This is a 3* and not 4* First of all the location. Is isolated ? Yes and like everywhere in Sardinia you need a car. I did the research of the areas and I wanted to stay in a ratio of 15 km to this hotel so no bad points here. The beach is nothing wow, so don't bother take your car and go to other ones are 20 or 25 min away The hotel itself building is ok not bad looks new and bedrooms are good size. Beds are ok . Pillows could be better. One problem they have is that the fire alarm went off so many times during the day and our last night so a bit worrying if you stay in bed thinking is not real. The problem starts with the food and service hence my 3* The quality of the food is poor and the people are like vultures rushing to the buffet. So if you go down for breakfast after 9 forget it very little left. Croissant a bit stale and coffee is horrible. And you are in Italy for god sake Dinner is the same, the pasta is dire. The grill is no e but again poor quality and small portions The service is what you can expect. The ladies from Vietnam are lovely but they are all overwhelmed by the number of people rushing for food as if this was the end of the world. The wine no thank you. However we found a trick and prepare Spanish to go the verano mixing the cheap red wine with lemonade So if you are ok with cheap food and not bother by 70 or more people rushing like a competition for food then you are in the correct place Price was very cheap but I would have rather paid a little extra to have a separate area like VIP with better food and service. The bar area is wasted empty and you have to carry cash as it's separate from the hotel business . Crazy Would I come back ? Don't think so unless they change the format

The quality doesn’t correspond to the 4 star hotel. The towels smell bad, idk what they add when they wash them but it smelled like vinegar literally. Sometimes the water from the sink and toilet was running pink or yellow- brown. We were afraid to use it. The gym is just a joke. It is just a room with little equipment, not much to can be done. The breakfast is a total disappointment, food didn’t have taste, I mean in Italy, really? The coffee was the worst in my life. Internet was not working at all. Our room was falling apart day by day, once I just opened the door from the bathroom and the door handle just fell off. Another the same happened with the entrance door. The pool was not clean.
