Hotel Colombo

The best service I've ever had at a hotel. All the staff members are extremely friendly and nice. We asked a lady at the reception if we could play ping pong and when we came back she had already prepared for us the racquets and handed them over with a smile. The rooms are also very clean. Definitely recommend staying there.

Amazing front line workers are the mainstay in any tourist industry hotel and this hotel succeeded. Front office were knowledgeable, informative, smart and incredibly helpful for my stay. Their room information was all encompassing better than any hotel I have ever seen ( even offering simple sewing items). The breakfast was varied, fresh, and the workers clearly had pride in their work. The room staff left an immaculate room and we're personable. When I had a problem with a ridiculous airline problem, the hotel were amazing, going the extra mile. What stuck me was that the staff were brand loyal, but trained to be customer serviced. Location is on the edge of town, most folks have cars. Views are awesome.This hotel is tough to beat in any of the 9 Azores islands I visited this trip.

Had a 2 night reservation, after 1st night had to leave. Room was very dated (not the reason why we left), bed was hard as a concrete floor and the one single pillow that you have (per person) is about as thin as a sheet. Breakfast was very bland and the coffee was horrible. Guess you get what you pay for! Would not recommend this hotel.
