Staff was very friendy and tried as good as she could with English. We got a free room upgrade with sea view instead of mountain view, which was great. The rooms were OK and clean but somewhat out dated. The view was great! During the evening it rs pretty noisy outside due to the bar next to the hotel. There is also no way to turn off the annoying balcony light. Breakfast was OK. Good selection of meat, cheese and fruits and great view at the sea. There is also supoosed to be an inside bar but it is closed and does not seem to be used. The swimming pool area looked maintained.
Good: Location by the beach and close to everything Spacious room with terrace Pool Staff friendly Needs improvement: Old installations e.g. Shower and toilet Not spotless, sheets, curtains, mirror all had stains Breakfast poor quality, especially eggs (I couldn't eat them, terrible). Needs more variety especially of healthy options not just sugar packed Overall good value, would stay again
Friendly, hardworking and obliging staff in a clean hotel with a well maintained pool and spotless surrounding area. Wifi, at least on the top floor was weak and intermittent. The restaurant really brings this hotel down. Breakfast is just about adequate but the €15 buffet dinner was really appalling. (Take your money next door to Can Pijaume where the menù del dia changes everyday and you can eat very well for €14.) The parking (€12 a night) is not secure and during our stay (early Sept) there was loads of free on-street parking. We had no complaint to make but mentioned the dining and wifi (along with very positive comments) to the staff at reception; they didn't seem to know what to do with the feedback.
