Hotel Concorde München

Location is very good as it was near our car rental service and Marienplatz square.. we rented two rooms for 3 nights for our family of 5.. even it’s not adjoining room, it was a room across each other so we are able to monitor our teens across the hallway. The staff at the reception are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast option is superb. In the night since it’s really near the Hofbrauhaus, you can hear the commotion and music sometimes coming from the nearby beerhause. Everything is clean so we come back with a clean room everyday after exploring Munich.

Small room in basement for more than $300 a night. Horribly soft mattress. A half to one star hotel to my opinion. Not sure why it is 4-stars rating. Not coming back for sure. Think twice before you make the reservation since you will have chance to stay at a basement room described as “standard room”. You probably won’t know until you arrive the hotel as what happened to me. In response to owner’s reply: The room was described as “City view” when I made the reservation. However, it is a basement room with a window viewing a basement well. The room that I received is NOT what I reserved. I consider it a dishonest business practice. It is the reason that I give a low rating. By the way, there is no elevator to the basement room. I had to walk the stairs carrying my luggage. It is a good exercise though, saving gym time.

Internet is horrendous. This is unacceptable in 2025. Get your act together, buy more wireless routers, and check that all rooms have strong reception. Also, it’s not my mobile device. My device has been working great elsewhere on WiFi in Munich. And I ran a bandwidth test from my hotel on both laptop and mobile. Horrible speeds under 10mbps. Also stop with the super-narrow bed blankets that barely cover someone. Get wide blankets that cover the full bed. And the blinds are thin and let in tons of light - get black out blinds that work so guests can get better sleep.
