Hotel Concordia

Hotel Concordia packs the best bang for your buck in Lund; the rates are very reasonable for what you get. Be sure to book through the hotel website which is typically much cheaper than the usual platforms. I've spent around a year in Lund altogether so I know what I'm talking about. The Concordia is my go-to hotel in town. The hotel is certainly charming: an old-school hotel with everything you need but not much in terms of fancy. The rooms in which I've stayed have been somewhat small but comfortable. The beds are good and the showers are much better than in your typical hotel anywhere in central Europe (this is, of course, Scandinavia). The rooms could have better sound insulation but at the same time the hotel has never been loud when I've been there. The location is great. It's a 5-minute walk from the train station if you take the southern exit. There's also a reasonably priced, comprehensive breakfast which in my view is a very good deal.

We stayed at this hotel for two days, and while it had its charms, there were some drawbacks to consider. Firstly, be warned that the 15-minute walk from the train station can be treacherous for luggage, as the route is paved with cobblestone. Unfortunately, my luggage wheels were badly damaged as a result. On the other hand, the hotel lobby was delightful, with a unique and cozy atmosphere. The receptionists we encountered were friendly, helpful, and cheerful, making us feel welcome. However, our room (222) was a letdown. It was small, cramped, and not particularly comfortable, which was a shame given the lobby's cozy vibe. The room's layout made it feel even more squeezed. Additionally, we could hear noises from the lobby, including chatter and laughter from other guests, even with the door closed. On the plus side, the hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the city square, tourist sites, shops and eateries. Overall, while this hotel has its strengths, it falls short in terms of room comfort and quietness.

Hello! Now I give you my opinions about this Hotel. The room is cute and comfortable, the only thing is the blankets, but since i'm not from here, i don't count that as a negative thing. The window curtain darkens well, and that's very important to me. I think the bathroom is the only one i have to say a couple of negative things about. The shower was at the same level of the floor, and when you do your shower, you might get the floor wet .Another thing is that there is no bidet, but i come from Italy and i know that bidets aren't used here, so I don't count it as a real negative thing. Anyway,service not bad and breakfast very good, you can decide what to take on your dish like salami, bacon, crepes, biscuits and more... So, if you have to stay for a while longer in Lund, i recommend this hotel. P.s. There is also a relax room and a game room! :)
