Hotel & Congrescentrum Mennorode

It’s a pity we only booked this hotel for a short one-night stay—I wish we had more time here! I’ll definitely consider coming back next time. The hotel is set in nature, surrounded by greenery, with a wide and peaceful outdoor area. 24-hour check-in is available, which is convenient. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, and breakfast also ends early for me, at 10:30 AM. It’s an older building—you can feel that in the walls—but it’s very well maintained. There are plenty of activities offered: board games, a library, and even route maps for exploring the natural surroundings (accessible via QR codes). Bike rentals are also available. Overall, a lovely place to relax and spend time. Highly recommended if you’re looking for nature, quiet, and charm.

Our room was in need of minor renovations ("cosy" room), view was not very good either and it was very small. More like a one night stay over hotel at the airport. And no air conditioning in any of the rooms. Service was good and the location is excellent. Breakfast was quite good, nice outdoor seating, lots of tasty fresh breads and pastries. Different spreads and oat varieties, delicious yogurt and many fruit juices. 3 types of egg. Not a lot of different meats and cheeses. Only a few warm foods like pancakes, bacon and grilled tomato.

Portions are very small, overpriced. Menu is poor. Guys, you might make an effort to make some nice food here and have good service. People are still coming to Mennorode, appreciate that.
