Hotel Contessa

Hotel Contessa was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding celebration trip. From the moment we stepped into the stunning lobby, we felt pampered and welcomed. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. The separate living area and floor to ceiling windows gave us the perfect view of the water and it felt so private and peaceful. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. One of the biggest standouts was the staff. Every single person we encountered was kind, attentive, and professional. We also loved the rooftop pool and the relaxing courtyard, and we had a delicious breakfast at the onsite restaurant. The location is ideal walking distance to everything, but still feels tucked away and peaceful. If you’re looking for a romantic and luxurious place to stay in San Antonio, Hotel Contessa is a must. We can’t wait to come back for an anniversary trip!

Hotel Contessa is so comfortable. Enjoy the afternoon on the rooftop at the pool while your lady gets a massage at the spa. Then enjoy the evening on the river level at their restaurant, The Ambler. We like to have a couple of drinks in the lobby listening to live music before retiring to our room.

Just checked in and went into our room and already feel disappointed. The River walk view is not as I thought I would be,the pillows smell like sweat,the in room restaurant menu doesn’t say a start time when the in room service starts so when I called around 4:00pm they told me they don’t do it until after 5:00pm,like what?! Well then state that important information on the menu. Restroom didn’t smell too fresh either. It’s expensive for one night almost $300. Won’t be coming back.
