I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Continental, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the beautiful city of Lausanne. Given the typical prices in the area, I found the rates at this hotel to be very reasonable. One highlight of my stay was the gym, which is not only included but also beautifully equipped. It was a great way to stay active during my trip. Additionally, the complimentary transportation pass was a wonderful bonus, allowing me to easily navigate the city. Above all, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for their kindness and helpfulness. Everyone was welcoming and always greeted me with a smile, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would especially like to thank Michael (or Miguel) at reception—he was there when I checked in and out, and his assistance made a significant difference in my experience. Thank you, Hôtel Continental, for a fantastic stay! I look forward to returning in the future.
The reception staff made this a pleasant stay. They were very nice, attentive and helpful during our stay. The hotel is located directly across the street from the main station and has another excellent location, if you are going to Lausanne by train. We were passing through by car and were able to park outside for check-in and check-out. Overnight parking was in a parking garage about 5-10 minutes walk away and cost 20 CHF when we paid at the reception. Walking distance to the things we wanted to see in the city, with Lausanne having a slightly special topography, so it depends on what you are going to do in the city. The standard of the hotel was as expected. The rooms are relatively modern, the common areas maybe a little less modern, but perfectly livable. Nothing to complain about the cleanliness. We left early and therefore did not have breakfast.
Everything is fine the service is amazing the hospitality is amazing but only one thing ruin almost everything the first thing is the bathroom is wayyyy to small and the bed is so uncomfortable to sleep on and the internet is weak for my kids PlayStation thank you
