The hotel has great surroundings and looks pretty on the outside. Free parking, though not a lot of space. Our room was on the small side, but it wasn't cramped. Nice interior, warm colors. The bathroom is very nice, big sink and mirror, great shower. Breakfast is alright, some variety on the table... though pretty much the same every day. Dinner is good, though our first day was better than the second. Also, the salad bar stays the same. The staff are very friendly and give a lot of information. Room was clean and gets cleaned every day. There is a sauna, though we didn't use it. There is also a skittle alley, though we didn't use that either.

Nice and comfortable place to stay for holiday or business trips. The rooms are clean and spacious. The furniture is in a good condition, though a few years old. They offer a good and solid breakfast.

The reception is very friendly and helpful, the hotel has a nice feel to it and if you're an animal lover you'll be happy to know you can take your animals with you and meet lots of other animals (mostly dogs) in the hotel and their restaurant. The food and service in the restaurant is great too, they had some very special dishes: one of them being one of the best dishes me and my girlfriend had ever tasted (The turkey filet with grilled tomato and cheese). Sadly there are a couple of downsides to the hotel. Except for the receptionist, no one speaks english even though lots of foreign people (mostly dutch) come to visit. This makes for some awkward interactions every now and then. Then, when you have a relevant question that you can only ask the receptionist, you will often find her talking on the phone, with her being the only receptionist there. The phone calls can take quite some time as well. We personally didn't have a problem with it but the animals and trains can be loud so if you dislike the occasional dog barking or scratching or trains passing I wouldn't recommend this place. The last problem we had was our matrass falling through the bottom of our bed and the bed being quite noisy, but this was nicely fixed the next morning, except for the noisiness but we didn't complain about it. Overall I would recommend this place to animal lovers, sightseers and cyclists or hikers because the receptionist knows about great hiking or cycling routes and will recommend places to visit but the hotel is located next to a railway and has pretty old (but nicely sanitised daily) interior and few people that speak english.
