The recently refurbished country hotel in a former family estate has a direct view to the Zahara dam and offers small, poorly sound isolated double rooms with large terraces, a good private spa with psychedelic lights, a large restaurant with a classic menu with a limited wine card at fair prices and in general with informal service. We paid €130 for a room with a terrace in May, had a great couple of hours in the spa for €57/couple, and a €45/pax dinner with a sunset with a bottle of good crianza with tacos and artichoke, oxtail with vegetables and pork cheek cannelloni, a cheesecake, waters and a coffee.
A very quaint place. Decorations could all use a refresh as they looked like they were from 2005 but that didn’t impact our stay. The service was great and so was the food. We had dinner and breakfast here. All of which was delicious. The views were wonderful and you are out away from the hustle of the city which is perfect for a relaxing retreat. The fireplace in the common area was extremely nice to sit by. My husband and I played games and read in front of it both nights and enjoyed our time!
