Hotel Costa Verde

The highlight of the stay was definitely the entertainment team. They work really hard from morning until night keeping everyone entertained. In fact out daughter is doing the Koukou Move dance right now. There's a kid's club in the day time. It's worth bearing in mind that not all the facilities are open/available off season. However, it does mean that you have more space and there are still plenty of things to do. There is an entertainment show on every night. This starts off for the kid's and then moves on to something for all the family. There is a regular free bus from the hotel to the private beach. The beach was nice and clean with it's own little bar. There are also coaches to Cefalu and Palermo. I think there will be a lot going on when in peak season. Even though we visited off season, we didn't want to leave when the time came.

The hotel itself is great. However the food and the bedrooms don’t look like advertised..It’s not bad but it’s not great. If you have kids it might not be ideal as the food choice is the same every night. The pool was amazing but be aware that even if the drinks are all inclusive they aren’t the normal drink and they are created by the hotel..if you want whiskey you need to pay more. They have a limit for about 7 free drinks a day before they stop you and a bottle of water would cost you. Its pros are even though it’s about an hour away from the city they have a shuttle to the beach and city and it’s about €4.50 round trip.

Hotel Costa Verde delighted me with its beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Unfortunately, the all-inclusive option left much to be desired. The lack of snacks during the day and the arrogance of the bartenders were major drawbacks. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel left a lot to be desired, and water was served in small cups instead of bottles. The rooms were not spotless, and the service was not very helpful. Moreover, to get a drink from the bar, you first had to stand in line for a ticket from the machine, and then with this ticket line up to the bartender, which was very frustrating. The only plus of the hotel were the beautiful views of the sea and mountains. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. I think this hotel does not even deserve 3 stars. During dinner, I witnessed the menager yelling at an employee in front of guests, which I consider unacceptable. The snacks at the hotel were just toast, which you also had to queue for and pick up elsewhere. Virtually no snacks for children. All inclusive at this hotel was a mistake, it looked more like a half board option, and we paid for full board. I think it's a scandal and I don't recommend this hotel.
