Love this hotel. Off season it is perfectly relaxed, quiet and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is usually excellent and never less than very good. Location is spot on, right on the beach, ocean view is stunning. Everything provided for a perfect break. Been before with our children who loved it and again as a couple. Happily come again 👍
Three like the stars this hotel should have. Check-in done, we enter the room and notice that there are no toiletries in the bathroom (creams, Q-tips, wipes etc.) and the shower dispender (quite old) was at the same time bath gel and shampoo. Super thin walls, we could hear all the conversations of the French couple on the side. Poor quality television in the room, poor image quality, unstable and unknown brand, not expectable in a 4 stars. In addition, we found spider webs in various areas of the terrace and behind the curtains. Chapter breakfast: quite basic, without natural juices and regional products. Interior pool chapter: never seen a pool with all these signs of wear and rust. Also, there was no possibility to manage the water jet and the activation was completely random. Icing on the cake: the work that interrupted my work and tranquility yesterday. Drilling and hammering from morning and until three in the afternoon, right above our room. It was impossible to even stand and sunbathe on the terrace because there was a danger that remnants of rubble could fall down. Finally, the strength of the facility is that it is right across the street from the beach and is the only hotel in the area. But there are many points that leave something to be desired, and maintenance seems to have been forgotten for years.
Over 20 days to confirm a reservation via email and still no response. I guess clients aren't a priority with this hotel. Edit: It's now January and I still haven't heard from the hotel on ANY update. Me reviewing you before I'm a guest is still part of the experience you are providing to a potential customer. Instead of attacking the clients DO BETTER. In the time it took you to respond to me you could have send updates to a number of waiting clients who still haven't had a reply from you. This carelessness and ineptitude on running a hotel only stains your reputation.
