Hotel Cristallo

Hotel was very nice House keeping was the best. Great service. Front end ludmilla was awesome Great customer service from the staff . Waiter went above and beyond. Bad thing is they allow dogs in their breakfast buffet. Even though it is not allowed.

Stayed only a few hours, having to pick our injured child up from training camp near by and drive home to Switzerland. A reduced rate was given and a fresh warm breakfast to go was served at 3am by a lovely night man/receptionist. He even gave us some bottled extra drinks for the road. Couldn’t have asked for a better few hours in a very comfortable bed!! Refreshed and ready to drive home. Thank you Hotel Christolla!

Location is excellent, very close to the sea and pedestrian areas, many restaurants around. Area seems to be quiet and feels secure. Reception and breakfast staff mostly OK. Breakfast was good by Italian standards, but nothing extraordinary. Fairly secure and cheap (6€) parking. Fantastic internet connection - up to 35-45 Mbps. On the other hand, rooms are really, really small. After settling in with the baggage, there literally no space to walk. No chair and no trashcan in the room. One power outlet is available, for two people with smartphones and laptops that's rather not enough. As there are hard floors everywhere, it's very noisy, you could hear every person walking through corridors. Soundproofing not great as well. We were there during winter time and it was cold everywhere, AC was not able to heat the room - and especially bathroom.
