Hotel Cristallo

We stayed at the hotel Cristallo 2 nights. Good size room. It’s got amazing location. Very good breakfast. But it was very hot you can’t control temperature in the room, too hot. I went to use gym and it had heating on as well. Very nice staff but I guess management of the hotel needs to do a lot of improvements. It’s no way 4star hotel. I am sure with some improvements they can get there.

I made a reservation months in advance saying we had 2 vegan guests in our party of 5. Then I emailed the hotel 2 days before our arrival and again told them when we got here. All we got was dry, stale rice cakes and toast and jam. They promised to order some vegan butter which was supposed to arrive on our 3rd breakfast but it never came. This is unacceptable, as I am paying a lot of money and feel outright discriminated. Besides this, the rooms belong to the 80s, the heating is so strong we can’t breathe, so need to keep windows open but then the noise from the street doesn’t let us sleep. Very disappointing

It's a fair hotel, but don't expect 4* quality or service. It was probably 4* decacdes ago, like other otels in this region, all old and run down. For families dont exoect shower in your room, It's just a bath. Fridge not working and they are not fixing it. Breakfast very basic. Overall not a great experience. And they dont seem to care.
