Hotel Croatia

A beautiful little hotel offering lovely meals, views and rooms. The staff very pleasant, no complaints about any. The group they had on later not to my taste but you can't please everyone. The musicians provided in the dining room more to my taste but they didn't last very long. Holiday very pleasing, guide Xinnia Sionbhad, as I heard it was the best we could have had. She came to us last breakfast to apologise for speaking English so badly - she did very in well! She speaks English better than we speak Croatian! She certainly deserved the €100 tip she got from us. Drivers all great lads, this hotel the best of the three we went to.

Can't say enough good things about the hotel and its staff! Anna and Renata at the front desk went out of their way to make our week-long stay perfect. Location is great - it's smack in the city center, with lots of restaurants, cafes and beaches within an easy walk. Also, there's a restaurant linked with the hotel - and you get a good discount for eating there due to being the hotel's guest. Plus, you can order right from the hotel's patio and eat right there - ultimate comfort. Absolutely loved everything and highly recommend!

Would strongly recommend NOT to choose this hotel. Food is incredibly poor. 2 different types of ham, some jam, yogurts, tomatoe, cucumbers, and some porrage.. Oh yes, and a single plate of fruits. No service at all. No stay over. So be prepared to go easy on toilet paper, bring some extra towels with you, and a hoover perhaps. No one at the reception. And even when the young girl is there she is no help what so ever. Location is okey. Rooms are pretty and clean after arrival. But that's about it. No idea how this is a 4 star hotel. I would give it 2. And only because of the rooms.
