Hotel Croce Di Malta

Great location. Easy walking from train station. Staff were very helpful at all times and made us feel very welcome. The pool was a real treat after a long day of walking in the heat. Breakfast was very nice with lots to choose from. Room was large as well as the bed being very comfortable. Pillow was nice and comfortable as well. Could not fault this hotel.

I had booked this place a few months before staying for one night in July 2025. I had clearly forgotten some of the pluses that make this place a real find. First, a good-sized pool in the middle of Florence. Great for those hot afternoons when it is simply too hot to be on the street. Second, another rarity is the rooftop terrace with amazing views around Florence. Great location: tram from airport to the main train station then 5 minute walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bed were comfortable. Good shower and a/c. Very quiet. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive, including fresh fruit. International and Italian newspapers at the front desk. Only negative was bitter coffee at the breakfast buffet.

The hotel is very well positioned to visit all of old Florence. It has a nice roof top bar. It also has a pool. These two facilities was a major reason for staying there. We had a car, and it was picked up and taken to a safe garage. This was a quick service less than 10 mins waiting to get it back. enjoyed our stay here would come again.
