Good hotel, good food, beach access

The location is the best you could get. It is extremely close to the beach and it has a fantastic garden with many trees, flowers and a small waterfall. It provides a lot of shade during hot summer days. They have live music every day during dinner time. The hotel, the reception and the room were very clean. The infinity pool is amazing !!! It's nice to see the sea from the pool. They clean the pool every evening, hence the water and the area near the pool were very clean all the time. Suggestion: The pool water could be a bit warmer since many people found it quite cold. The only not so good aspects which are worth mentioned are the fact that the parking is not managed correctly and cars from other hotels might occupy some of the hotel's spots. Also, there are not enough parking spots for everyone which causes a lot of problems. We were surprised to see that they do not have enough parking spots when it's a 4-star hotel. A suggestion is to at least add a barrier for a better management of the parking. A camera would also be great because we would feel safer if we knew our car is monitored and nothing bad can happen. Regarding the food, it would be great to have different meals for dinner. We stayed 8 days and the food for lunch and dinner was almost identical, the only difference was that for dinner there were pasta.

Rooms were extremely small, without any space to store belongings. Except for the pool and reception area, it felt as if you were returning to the 90s. Food was eatable, but they kept redoing the same dishes over and over. I would give food a 2 out of 5. Similarily drinks were a pretty basic cheap selection, not what you would have expected from a 4 star hotel. At the end of our stay, there was a huge line of people at check out, and we had to wait for a while. When we eventually got in front, they made us wait for them to check the rooms, and after the maid finally got in to check and confirmed we did not steal anything (did not make us feel as if we stayed at a 4*), they asked for bith our room cards and said we need to pay 100ron if we lost one (again felt so cheap). No we did not enjoy our stay facility wise as we were always frustrated with something not working. Oh and the pictures of the outside of the hotel are made on the computer and are not real. In fact it looks pretty much as it did probabily 40-50 years ago when it was built. We were shocked when we arrived.
