We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant every night. We had an incredible experience. The hotel is at the bottom of a steep hill but this is not a problem because of the very cheap taxi boat you can get anywhere. The restaurant was stunning and we were delighted that we chose half board. The view of the sea and castle was beautiful from the restaurant and the food was sublime. The pool at the hotel was great - we had it to ourselves for a while - and the private beach and thermal spa is lovely, although half of it was shut because of work being done. The bathroom in our room was excellent and we loved having a bath with jets! The staff were great and made a great effort even if there were some language challenges.

We stayed in this hotel, room only for one week. The room was fairly basic but comfortable and clean. The hotel's location is why we chose it, access is only really by water taxi. The water taxi is only three euros per adult. The beach is right in front of the hotel and sun loungers and parasols are available free to guests. Food and drinks can also be ordered from the beach bar at a very reasonable price. The hotel restaurant is mainly focused on seafood and was very nice when we used it. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. One important thing to keep in mind is, if you have mobility problems then this may not be your best choice, access to the hotel is made by a very steep and uneven path.

Awful experience here. Beach under construction, completely unusable. It feels very isolated, and it is difficult to go back and forth using the water taxi, impossible to walk on your own - so it feels trapped. I paid a lot of money only to arrive, and realize that this place was just no good for us. We left after the first night (paid for multiple nights for a hotel with a lousy beach, and had a wonderful experience on the other side of the island.) It’s a shame, but I highly suggest you don’t stay here.
