The hotel is amazing and we will definitely come back in our next visit to Austria. My family and I would like to thank Herbert and his staff for an unforgettable stay. We got a warm welcome by the owner and his great staff who introduced the hotel, sent us the Salzburger Sportwelt Card and booked our main dish for dinner. The Alpenstyle Family Suite was more than we could have asked for a family of four. Super clean, two balconies, living room and even a clothing room :) Breakfast was very good with food variety for everyone. I strongly recommend booking half board to enjoy the amazing dinner of salad, starter, soup, main course and dessert. You can choose from meat, fish and vegetarian and everyday they serve something new. The service by the staff was great and they make you feel comfortable to enjoy your dinner. After a long day of travelling we came back and enjoyed the pool and spa. Nice relaxation before going to dinner. The hotel has a very nice lobby with many places to sit and enjoy a drink, do not miss the local Schnapps :) The hotel location is very convenient for the local attractions. We had a car so everything we planned to visit was in max of 45 min drive. Therme Amade is within a walking distance. I will definitely recommend the hotel for family and friends!

Great hotel, great service and excellent food! We've enjoyed our stay from the very first day. Free parking, enough space, warm welcome. Spacious room, comfort bed, great spa (sauna and pool). All the hotel was super clean, everything was working the way you expect it to work. I'd like to highlight 2 things: 1) high level of service - you get what you need and what you ask for. Great interaction (incl kids), fun, always smile on the face, no servility. Everything is just right. 2) excellent food - you can find everything you want for the breakfast, great quality, good coffee. But dinner is on even higher level. It's like a walk through paradise. It has been something we all were looking for each day! Perfectly served, good options to make your choice, balanced tastes... Couldn't comment better than "incredibly good"! If anything to improve, then just few small details: - more hangers in the bathroom - more light in the -1 floor where the table tennis, billiard and foosbal are

wide range of selection and quality for both breakfast and dinner, I loved freshly cooked warm oatmeal with fruit for breakfast with homemade honey. dinners were amazing as well, 4 course menu with self selection of salads. really cant complain. staff was friendly and welcoming, always smiling and there for you if you needed anything. billiard and table tennis to play with kids. pools, sauna. managed to try only the finish one which was strong enough even for experienced folks. spacious rooms, nice view. Altenmarkt is great location from skiing perspective. would recommend for stay and if we are in the region, will come again.
