Hotel de Bonte Wever Assen

A perfect hotel in a beautiful location. All the services were excellent. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The food was great with a lot of choices ! All the areas where clean and the people very helpful and professional!

Not particularly high end but obviously a place to be able to enjoy multiple vacation type activities. Large bright bedroom but the hallways are drab and take away from the ambiance. Certainly not a cosy small facility, with vast food hall. The food however was quite good.

Rooms are not close to 4 star hotel but okeish. Bathroom was terrible and old and not well cleand. We took "All inclusive" packet for 7 days. And i will advice everyone not to make the same mistake. This is not all inclusive at all. it's some sort of limited deal. So u can take what they offer you in time when its convenient for them and not for the guest. One example. You can take snacks from the pool bar from 1.30pm to 4.30pm so if you are early one minute or late one minute you will not be serverd. ( you will if you want to pay for it). From entire sneck many you can order 20% of it. Good forbid to put ice creems on all inclusive menu or some sweets. I heard soo many guest complain about this during our stay, so its not just us. Food was ok. Breakfast little bit booring and repetitive. Lunch pretty much same every day, 2 days from 7 we could not get bread and i asked 2 times for it. Diner was great and it compensate little for lack of previous two. CafeStraat ( fun zone) was nice especialy the live music every night. But rest was oudated and long time overdue for renovation and change( pool tables, table football, dart game ). You have 3 "Electronic game " arcades and all of them are dating way back from abacus time. Swimming pools were nice at least kids loved them. They were to crowded during weekends, not sure are there any limits set for amount of people in the pool. We lost internet in our room for 3 days, and no one bother to fix it even after complain. So, all in all, i would say generous 3- and we will not visit again at least if everything stays the same as it is now.
