Hotel de Bourgtheroulde Autograph Collection

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel recently. It started with the clear and friendly messages sent to inform us about how to approach the hotel and where to park our car, which was very convenient as the hotel is majestically located in the center of the city, which is a pedestrian area. The entrance is impressive and the reception staff was kind, capable and very welcoming. Our room was beautiful, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children and equipped with all we needed. The kingsize bed was extremely comfortable. We also used the swimming pool which was great as well and had a drink in the bar, where they have a lovely cocktail menu. All in all a fantastic stay. One point of improvement we encountered, was the location of the ashtray for smokers on the courtyard. It was positioned at the base of the stairs leading up to the reception, so unavoidable. In 2025, this is no longer acceptable, and the courtyard had enough space to facilitate a corner that will not force non-smokers to enter the hotel through the stink of cigarettes.

Stayed a night at this hotel in Rouen. This historic property is centrally located where you can easily walk covering other notable sights. My room was good and so was the breakfast. I found the place to be quiet during my time of stay. Would revisit.

Considering the price it could be a little more advanced. My room, 403, is at the complete backside of the building. The view is spectacular but it’s a walk from the lobby which has only one elevator. The pool is nice, as is the sauna and gym. The square and the facade at the hotel are spectacular.
