Hotel de Castiglione

Air conditioning did not work at all in our first room on a very hot day. After a few hours of the management telling us there were no other rooms, we threatened to leave and went to the lobby with our luggage and all of a sudden the new room appeared. Unfortunately, our two teenage kids got stuck in another room without air-conditioning for four nights. Everyday, room keys didn’t work and after several trips to the front desk. After several trips, we learned our door was broken and had to leave it unlocked for the night. Our sink was constantly clogged and took time to drain. Pillows were highly uncomfortable. For the price we paid, we expected basic amenities to work properly, but this place failed on nearly every level. I have one single word to summarize my stay at this hotel property: SKIP!!

Disgraceful hotel. Rooms are rented out by the hour during the day, and while I’m sitting in the lobby with my children, I know for a fact that some are being used for people to have sex. Completely unacceptable for a place that claims to be family-friendly. To make matters worse, after a long and exhausting flight, we were forced to wait over 5 hours for our room with no consideration whatsoever. No gesture, no apology just left outside in extreme heat because the room ‘wasn’t ready.’ Zero professionalism, zero decency. Apparently, the hotel forgot to order water. How is that even possible in a hotel in the middle of summer? The reception was overwhelmed, clearly not equipped to handle guests. I wasn’t the only one in this situation: several families were stuck waiting, and one family with children was even kicked out and moved to another hotel. This is nothing more than a glorified brothel pretending to be a hotel. Avoid at all costs. Do yourself a favor: stay far away.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were disrespectful and the cleanliness was unacceptable. One of our bags was stolen from the room, and the hotel took no responsibility or action to compensate us. They kept delaying and avoiding the issue. I do not recommend this place at all.
