Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Good looking hotel with nice surroundings. Bedroom was big with a very good bathroom. All clean. Breakfast very good. Service very good. We liked the free minibus to and back from the town, could be improved by extending the times when run. The car park is a decent size although can fill up during the day but there were always spaces in the evening. The only negative for us was the evening restaurant menu which didn't appeal to us. We did try some of the simpler options which were ok but not special. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants in the town so didn't spoil our stay.
Had a very nice two night stay here! The hotel and the grounds are very grand and well-kept. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The bathroom decor was a little bit dated but everything was in pristine condition so nothing to complain about. The provided toiletries and local tea and coffee offerings in the room were a nice touch. There was a fan in the room as well which came in handy during the warm weather. All the staff were very polite and friendly. The location is a little bit far out from St. Helier but I didn't mind the 10 minute walk into the centre. I had a good stay and would recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel De France. It is set in a beautiful old mansion house with a modern spa and restaurant. A good location for exploring St Helier- though be aware it's up a steep hill so might not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The staff were all excellent. Good quality breakfast and food in the restaurant. Our room was spotless and nicely furnished. Comfortable mattress and lovely toiletries supplied. My only gripe is that we booked the cheaper 'classic double' which was situated at the rear of the hotel. Be aware these rooms have no view and have noisy extractor fans outside the window. The room was also lacking an iron and mini fridge. I would pay the extra for a balcony room. Would return.
