Best hotel for Spa. 200m from La Source and the pits.
Left honeymoon couple out in cold after telling them they had a room. On honeymoon, called and was told room was available. All information including credit card information given. We were told we had a room. Packed and checked out of existing hotel and left for Hotel de La Spa. While on our way to hotel, received a call from Gregory, the “manager’s assistant”. Who said, “Sorry, couple just arrived and we gave the room to them”. A call was placed back to the hotel to explain the room should have been held since it was confirmed and payment information given. The woman that answered the phone could see the reservation. She said, “ yes, here for 4 nights”. Regardless, the room was given away. Spoke again with Gregory explained it was honeymoon to no avails. Gregory said sorry but nothing they could do.
Nice hotel and location near the circuit but do not count on a drink in the bar. After 30 minutes waiting for one beer, one cava for me and my wife and a fanta for my 8 year old daughter i was denied service because i was impatient. It was not even busy. There were no people in the bar. Really dissapointed.
