Hotel de la Ville Central

My husband and I travel to Rome almost every year for our anniversary. We stay at the Hotel De La Seville. The hotel manager Jacques and staff, are professional, kind, and the warm welcome, making each stay experience like no other. We absolutely love this hotel. Several friends have stayed there also, from our recommendation and feel the same. The room accommodations, and food is top-tier. The breakfast spread is a wide selection of the freshest fruit, breads, pastries, meats, eggs made to order and array of drinks and herbal tea. The fine rooftop dining is elegant and romantic. In my opinion De La Seville is the best hotel stay in all of Rome.

Our stay at Hotel de la Ville in Rome, part of the Rocco Forte collection, was nothing short of exceptional. Though it was our first time at this property, we’re longtime fans of the brand—and this experience only deepened our loyalty. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the seamless check-in, the service throughout was impeccable. Our duplex suite was elegantly designed, with every detail and amenity thoughtfully curated. Breakfast was a standout—an elevated mix of buffet and à la carte, with our order remembered daily, adding a personalized touch we truly appreciated. The attention to our seven-year-old son was heartwarming and genuinely thoughtful. We stayed five nights and felt completely at home—chic, comfortable, and consistently cared for. A truly flawless Roman escape.

I cannot say enough good things about Hotel de la Ville. The hotel is located on a quiet street in the center of the city, directly above the Spanish Steps. The staff is attentive, warm and helpful and provide a true five-star experience. The rooms feel new, spacious and welcoming and are a great place to unwind. The rooftop restaurant and bar have a gorgeous view of the city and, while expensive, the food and drinks are delicious. In addition to staying at the hotel, we hosted a dinner in the hotel's courtyard. Simona, the hotel's Group & Event Planning Manager, was wonderful to work with. She was friendly, kind and accommodated our various needs. She made it a seamless experience and all of our guests were wowed by the space. I have stayed in various hotels in Rome, but this is by far my favorite, due to the location, staff and restaurant.
