What a place! Quite possibly one of the friendliest hotel front desk hosts I've ever met, a wonderful breakfast brought to the room and views! To the East and West. A two minute walk to town and a two minute walk to the beach. An eye on the harbour with a constant stream of birds and boats. We had a wonderful time and will be back. They have maintained lovely elements from the 1960s (would be even better if additional elements were added) so the place is really charming and unique.
There was nothing about my stay at this hotel that wasn't delightful. It started at the very beginning. I was taking public transportation from Brussels to Breskens and my bus stopped 5 miles from town and made everybody get off because there wasn't a replacement driver for the last little segment. We were going to have to wait a whole hour for the next bus. On a whim, I called the hotel and Ayesha, the hotel manager I think, literally came and got me so that I didn't have to spend an hour waiting to go the last 5 miles! She was delightful. The room was gorgeous – – beautiful views and lots of light. The morning breakfast was amazing – – far more than I could eat and really good food. The location was perfect. I highly recommend it!
the hotel has a sensational location. you get up and look at the sea. Being so awake is priceless. my room looks like it has been partially updated. nevertheless, the hotel is stuck in the 60's 70's. the rooms are clean. the breakfast buffet is ok. in the end you pay the price for the location of the hotel.
