Hotel De Paviljoen

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. I really enjoyed staying here with my family. The location is also strategic and makes it easy to get around. Highly recommended! The kids’ playground is spacious, and the swimming pool is great, though the ceramic tiles could use some retouching as they’re a bit sharp for kids. The gym equipment is nice, although one machine was under maintenance. The ice cream from the Kekeun Dining was also really good. Definitely will come back.

The hotel is great overall—clean, comfortable, and lot of choice in breakfast. But make sure not to stay in a front corner room facing the main road. At night, the sound of passing motorbikes is very loud and disturbing. The noise doesn’t come from the window but from an outside-facing vent that has no glass, so it lets in all the street noise.

Returning to Bandung, I chose to stay at this charming boutique hotel situated near Gedung Sate. It offers a convenient location, just a stone’s throw away from restaurants and cafes. The room is spacious and well-ventilated, with fresh air circulating through the corridors, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the day and night. The shower room is separate from the WC, and there’s a cozy bench beside the window. The bed is a firm king coil bed, but unfortunately, none of the four pillows are comfortable enough. The large pillow is too hard, while the small one is too soft. I kindly request that they consider upgrading the pillows to enhance the overall comfort of the bed.
