Stayed here last year and forgot to leave a review. The room was one of the nicest we saw anywhere in Peru, and from what I could tell this was the most modern hotel in Iquitos. The rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool are great places to hang out and spot macaws in flight. Service was excellent and the room was spotless.
My friend booked the Hotel de Turistas for our stay, and the experience was quite good. The staff was very friendly, and the facilities were comfortable, making our stay enjoyable. However, I should mention that on weekends, there is a lot of noise from the parties on the terrace, which can make it hard to rest. If you're looking for peace and quiet, I recommend asking for a room away from that area
It's a clean and modern hotel, however check in didnt start on time and was around 15 mins late in starting. Wifi worked for 3hrs then went offline and never returned. Location is good, but be careful as outside there are salespeople who will target tourists with sales tactics. The staff were generally welcoming. It's OK- not amazing but definitely not bad.
