We stayed at this hotel for two nights, with a total cost of €249 including breakfast. Based on the photos and descriptions, we had high expectations — but unfortunately, the reality was quite disappointing. Room (Room 30) The room was fairly spacious, with a large, soft bed and two pillows per person, which was a nice touch. However, that’s where the positives ended. There was a wardrobe with a foldable luggage rack, a fan, a safe, and a few hangers, but the wardrobe itself was poorly organized and inconvenient to use. Storing belongings was uncomfortable and impractical. There were no slippers or bathrobes, which is unusual for a hotel in this price range. There was also no complimentary bottled water, giving the impression that the hotel cuts corners on basic amenities. Spa and Sauna Area The biggest disappointment was the spa, which, as it turns out, is not located in this hotel but in another one nearby — Hotel Papping. To access the spa, you need to walk about 15 minutes, which is very inconvenient, especially in bad weather or when you’re expecting spa access inside the hotel you’re staying in. Once we arrived at the other hotel, the problems continued. There was no place to leave your coat or outerwear, and we had to ask the receptionist for a towel, as it wasn’t offered. In the changing area, there were lockers, but we were told at the reception that there were no keys available. As a result, we had to leave our belongings on the only bench in the room, completely unattended — a serious lack of basic comfort and security. As for the spa itself: – Out of the two saunas, only one was working, – The infrared sauna was open but had a dirty floor, – The regular sauna was dirty, and we even saw a spider living in the corner, – There was no drinking water available in the spa area, which is completely unacceptable, – The floors were wet and soapy, and walking barefoot felt unsafe and unhygienic. While there was technically a large pool and an outdoor relaxation area, the overall uncleanliness and disorganization completely ruined the experience. Breakfast Breakfast was another letdown — the selection was very minimal, with few options and nothing that stood out. It felt like breakfast was included just to check a box, without any real effort. Other Notes The only real positives were the on-site parking and the hotel’s close proximity to the city center. Conclusion €249 for 2 nights is far too much for this level of service. Instead of comfort and relaxation, we experienced a dirty and inconvenient spa, a lack of basic room amenities, a 15-minute walk to another building for spa access, and a bare-minimum breakfast. There is no reason to pay extra for this hotel — there are plenty of other options offering much better service and actual comfort. We definitely won’t be returning.

I wouldn’t call it four stars. I’ve stayed at much nicer places in the Netherlands for a similar price (actual four star hotels). It is more 2 or 3 stars. The rooms are outdated and the carpet needs replacing. The hair dryer didn’t work and I couldn’t even open the storage cupboard.

Went for dinner in the restaurant. Very stiff, old-fashioned service and quite rude treatment by the staff. Very classic choice and presentation of the food. Although our reservation was at 19h30, it seems the kitchen closed at 8pm (on a Saturday!), meaning we could not have a cheese platter or choice of dessert
