Hotel Dei Pini

Wi- fi issues everyday (2025), sometimes work, sometimes it doesn't. Rooms are clean and enough for a single tourist. Service of everyone working there is good. you feel very safe there are cops everytime. Food it is bad, pasta and pasta and fried food, only breakfast was good

This hotel is the worst experience in my life. Really rude staff. The receptionists are the least friendly people I’ve encountered. The hotel is a discotheque until late at night. You will not be able sleep before 2 or 3 in the morning. The toilets in the rooms are out of a horror movie. The toilets make you not want to go. Really gross! The minimum European standards are not met here. You don’t even get to iron your shirts here. Not a single carpet on the floors. The air conditioning is a joke in this hotel. The don’t even change your bed sheets at this hotel. Simply the dirtiest hotel I’ve been to. But the worst thing about this hotel is the people who work here. You feel the hate from the second you come in contact with one of the staff. Get prepared to get insulted in Italian by every other sentence the utter when they realize you don’t speak their language. For two days I’ve asked to change my room away from the noise in the hallway and the loud music they play late at night. They just don’t give a damn. The staff at this hotel have no respect. They are hostile and rude. The whole hotels stinks. No really even the walls stink. If you want to ruin your vacation and waste your money while getting spit in the face by the staff at hotel Dei Pini, choose this hotel

For a hotel that advertises for tourists, it was not very tourist friendly. The pool was great with toys for the kids. But towels? Forget it. They don’t offer - you have to bring your own. BRING YOUR OWN! What international travelling tourist brings their own pool towel? Oh, just use your shower towel and ask housekeeping for more towels you say? There is a penalty for that. A PENALTY FOR USING YOUR ROOM TOWELS AS POOL TOWELS AND NO OPTION FOR ADDITIONAL TOWELS. This was the only hotel we stayed at in Sicily that functioned this way - every other one, from Cefalù to Mt Etna to Marsala offered an option to at least rent pool or beach towels. The hotel clearly used to allow smoking indoors as everything reeked of stale cigarettes. There were two elevators in our wing but only one worked and they were so tiny that only one person and one suitcase could fit at a time. Less than ideal but fine. Would not be good for anyone with accessibility issues if any kind. Not a chance a stroller would fit inside. The mattress was so thin that it felt like you were sleeping on the floor. When we arrived, there were stray hairs from someone else on the toilet lid and in the sink. The included breakfast was fine but we were there within an hour of opening. Juice was extremely watered down though. Would absolutely never stay there again without a complete interior overhaul. But the pool was nice.
