Hotel del Coronado Curio Collection by Hilton

We ate at their restaurant in the evening and the ambiance is amazing. They turn on the heaters and fires in the tables, great mood lighting across the place, the hotel bar is indoor/outdoor and they had wonderful live music. There was a DJ at the restaurant as well.

The polluted water moves this rating down from a 4.5. The remodel is very nice, and the staff is settling in. We go every year for our anniversary, 24 years, and the staff was not given the support they need and deserve, since covid. They are now, housekeeping fantastic, food and beverage much improved, still ran out of towels at the Beach club? Not sure how this happens everyday... Very good trip we spent 5 days.

Hotel is luxurious and has a great location on the beach. A lot of people walk by and in to the hotel’s restaurants. This makes the hotel area lively and vibrant, however, it also means queues and long waiting times. When we wanted to eat breakfast, we could not book a table in the hotel restaurant but had to stand in line for 30 minutes to get a table since it was so busy from both hotel guests and passersby. There’s no perk or advantage of staying at the hotel. Also, pool area is quite small (for such a big hotel). So if I were to go to Coronado again, I would check us in at a hotel with similar location and then just have dinner/breakfast at the Del.
