Hotel Del Golfo

We’ve been coming to Hotel del Golfo for many years now. The service is absolutely exceptional, all the staff are fantastic and make it a very pleasant experience. The pool and beach are fantastic and the rooms feel great after a hot day on the water. It’s a short walk into town where there’s a great gelato spot and their breakfast, lunch and dinner is always delicious. It’s always great to be back at del Golfo.

The resort is well structured with many services, including tennis courts, pools and a private beach and beach side restaurant. Nice staff, very comfortable rooms. The breakfast could have been better in terms of quality, I would have preferred less diversity and more quality. A disappointing aspect is that not all the jacuzzi pools are working and most importantly pools are not supervised by the lifeguard during the time stated in the hotel guidelines.

The location is good, and the food was as well. The waitstaff were kind and professional, which we appreciated. However, the room was quite outdated, and we could clearly hear guests in the neighboring room — as if they were in ours. Also, the sea directly in front of the hotel wasn’t clean. The real issue, though, was the management. Our car was damaged while parked in the hotel’s lot — we’re talking about thousands of euros in damage — and the hotel director showed absolutely no concern. No apology, no support, not even a small gesture like a complimentary dinner or a discount for a future stay. It felt like a bad joke — but unfortunately, it wasn’t.
