Hotel del Sole Resort

Stayed here for 10 days and price/quality wise it's excellent. Lot of reviews are particularly sour and we were a bit hesitant booking it, but very pleasantly surprised. Rooms are not the newest, but clean and they fullfil your needs and we had a great view. Breakfast is sufficient (remember you are in Italy so why complain when you get an Italian breakfast?) Lunch and dinner were excellent. Fresh food and in the right portions. Beach is really great. At a few meters from the hotel. Lot of space between the parasols. Perfect. Can't wait to return!

Great hotel, included breakfast is an added bonus + immediate beach access from the hotel. Friendly staff and willing to accommodate requests (such as taxi to Barletta, when booked in advance.) Protip: being your own vehicle/ rent a car. small surcharge for the use of beach chairs, definitely justified due to the fair hotel price. If possible upgrade your room to sea view. Great feeling to spend your evenings in the terrace and watch the sunrise/sunset. We enjoyed our 5-day stay!

The photos which are on the hotel's website are too old and do not reflect the reality. The carpet in the corridors and in the rooms are very old, stained and dirty. The curtains are dusty, there was no kettle, glasses, the fridge was not working. The place is full of mosquitoes. The breakfast was awful, very few things and almost nothing to eat and nothing was fresh. No eggs, fruits, vegetables etc. It is appropriate when commenting on a place we visited to give comments which reflect the reality and current situation so that others do not fall into the trap. We have paid an extremely high amount of money for such a hotel which is surely not a 4-stars hotel. Proof of the above mentioned in the attached photos and video.
