Hotel Deli River

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Sumatra. I must say I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when driving through the busy outskirts of Medan but this place really is an oasis of calm! Beautiful grounds and swimming pool with the added bonus of a zip wire for our boys. Rooms were very pleasant and we were impressed with the food. But probably the highlight was the welcome and friendliness of all the staff.

A good weekend gateway with my mom. It’s pretty well-maintained and has a clean pool. The staff is friendly and kind. The food that I ordered was always super fresh and delicious ( Im usually very picky about food😂). They are also open to outside visitors for their pool service and restaurant.

A beautifully designed and situated hotel. I loved the gardens, the main reception and dining areas in particular. Unfortunately, we didn't have an opportunity to use the pool area, but it is similarly well situated. Our room was a good size with an unusually high four poster. If we go back to Medan, we'll be staying here again.
