Hotel delle Rose Terme & Wellnes Spa

Although parts of it may need refurbishing, it was a beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean with hand gel in the most strategic places. The staff (from room maids to waiters to receptionists were very helpful and ready to fulfill most requests. Food was delicious, well prepared and there was a good variety of choice. The added advantage of the actual spa baths (and access to facilities from 3-7 pm) as part of the hotel building makes the stay even more worthwhile. All in all a great week was had.

I go very often to swim and relax in the swimming pool with real thermal water (very dense and very reach in mineral salts!). The atmosphere is quite simple and relaxing since the swimming pools (2) are placed in the middle of the park. Steam bath , 2 Finnish sauna, plenty of jacuzzi in water, make this location my preferred in the Parma area. My five star are all for the wellness center that is very good. (No knowledge about the hotel ).

The hotel itself looks quite nice but everything is very old. The staff is friendly and speaks english (only the guys at daytime. In the night they only speak italian) The first room I got, was realy small and the bathroom quite ugly with yellow ceramics. The shower was damaged and not working properly. The window was going directly to a not so beautiful wall. The window shade was blocked. I got a new room which was much better. But also the bathroom had some water damage on the ceiling and the water in the shower was only slightly warm. I had no time to test the pools and spa but it looked nice. It is only accessible from 10am to 7pm. The breakfast was good, but the variety not very big. Sadly it is only available after 7:30am, which is quite late.
