The service of the staff is excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The food is good too, both dinner and breakfast. In short: would recommend staying here. A lovely place.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Dewan-e-Khas in Skardu! The location is ideal — right in the heart of the city, close to the main bazaar and just a short distance from local attractions like the Polo Ground and Skardu Fort. It made exploring the area super convenient. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with anything we needed — from arranging transportation to recommending places to visit. Their genuine care made the experience memorable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-furnished. I especially loved the ones with a terrace that offered a lovely view of the surrounding mountains. Hot water was available, and Wi-Fi worked well in the common areas. The in-house restaurant was another highlight. We enjoyed a variety of dishes — from local Balti cuisine to Indian and Chinese options — all freshly prepared and delicious. The dining area was cozy and clean, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Yes, there were occasional minor power outages, but the management handled them efficiently with backup systems. Overall, Dewan-e-Khas offers great value for money with its central location, excellent food, and warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Skardu — whether for leisure or work.

I stayed 6 nights at Dewan-e-Khas and had a great experience. The hotel is well located, away from the main road, so it’s peaceful and quiet, yet still close to everything in Skardu. The place is clean and well maintained. The host is incredibly welcoming, friendly, honest, and always ready to help with anything you need. There’s also a good restaurant on-site, which is super convenient. It’s also excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Skardu!
